it does!

[ Jim has been up and going for a few hours now. It wasn't often they got a lot of time to just take time for themselves, and Jim wasn't about to waste the opportunity. A lot of crewmembers had blanched at the idea of time spent waiting on negotiations without a replicator, but Jim had jumped at the opportunity to stay planetside.

Sharing a bed with Spock had been unexpected, but it wasn't the first time, and honestly Jim could have sprawled like he did in his own when he was by himself if he wanted, and still not have bothered his first officer. He didn't, however, though he might have ended up spooning him a time or two in his sleep, so sue him. He'll apologize for invading his sleeping space if he brings it up, he's a cuddler, he can't help it.

But this world, oh, they had dozens of fresh markets just ---a feast for the eyes and he couldn't help the giddiness that spiked because of it. They'd been underway for over a year now, and these opportunities didn't come often. So he'd made use of the invitation of their hosts to trade as they would like, got an apron from one of the older ladies at the last stand on his way out, and headed back with his rucksack and two of their bags full of items. After that, he'd gotten to work cleaning, cutting, chopping, and cooking.

Hell, he'd probably end up beaming some up to the ship, cause at this point he wasn't sure he and Spock could even finish this much. When Jim comes into view at hearing Spock's voice, he still has an apron on, and he's whisking some ingredients together for another stack of pancakes. ]

Delivery? When there's a market right outside our door? No way.
